Terms & Conditions

By booking and submitting payment, you agree to the following terms.

1. Fees & Payment
One-on-One Tutoring

  • Fees are outlined at the time of booking or invoicing.

  • No additional fees are charged for travel or preparation.

  • Payment is due within 7 days of invoice.

  • Services may be paused if payment is not received.

Summer Learning Programs

  • Full payment is required within 7 days of booking to secure your child’s spot.

  • Unpaid registrations may be released.

YQR Tutors reserves the right to adjust fees with 10 days’ written notice.

 

2. Cancellation Policy
One-on-One Tutoring

  • 12+ hours’ notice: No charge.

  • Less than 12 hours’ notice or no-show: Session is forfeited.

  • Illness or emergencies may be reviewed case-by-case.

  • If we must cancel, we will reschedule or issue a credit.

Summer Programs

  • 14+ days before program start: Full refund.

  • Less than 14 days before start: 50% refund.

  • After program begins: No refunds.

  • Missed days are not eligible for refunds or make-ups.

  • If YQR Tutors cancels a session, a credit will be issued.

 

3. Attendance & Conduct

  • Tutors and students will wait up to 15 minutes for late arrivals.

  • Late arrivals do not extend session time.

  • Early departures are not eligible for partial refunds.

  • Repeated late pickups may result in additional fees.

  • Students may be dismissed from group programs for disruptive behavior (no refund issued).

 

4. Responsibilities
Our Commitment

  • Prepared, engaging, curriculum-aligned instruction.

  • Confidential handling of student information.

  • Guidance and support — we do not complete assignments for students.

Student & Parent Commitment

  • Attend sessions consistently.

  • Participate actively.

  • Complete recommended practice work.

  • Communicate schedule changes promptly.

 

5. No Guaranteed Results

While we are committed to student growth, academic outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

 

6. Independent Contractor Status

YQR Tutors operates independently and is not affiliated with any school division or educational institution or library.

7. Termination

Either party may discontinue services with 7 days’ written notice.

8. Agreement

By submitting payment, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Policies.
